Financial Services - Financial Systems
Participated in the creation of a strategic plan addressing the Financial Management Information Systems requirements of the bank.

 

Public Hospital - Financial Systems
Participated in the re-implementation of the Financial systems for a major Hospital Zone to cover all aspects of the finance function.

 

Electricity Utility (NSW) - Shared Services
Project managed the design and implementation of a Shared Services framework within the 15 support units, using the IT unit as
a pilot.  This involved several projects which examined the commercial structure of the business and its competitiveness within the market place.

 

Electricity Utility (Vic) - Financial Systems
Assisted them to define the financial management best practices that can be applied in implementing their new financial systems, incorporating planning, budgeting and reporting. In particular, they will be implementing revised management reports based upon
the principles of best practice and establishing the framework by which to develop the key components of their Chart of Accounts.

Assisted them to define the financial management best practices that can be applied in implementing their new financial systems, incorporating planning, budgeting and reporting. Defence Organisation - Financial Systems
Assisted in the implementation of SAP to support the adoption of a new resource management framework. The scope of the engagement included; Budgeting & Planning, Costing, Reporting, Cash Management, Procurement, Accounts Receivable and Assets & Projects.  In undertaking the implementation, the associated business processes were reengineered to reflect the best practices enabled by SAP.

 

Taxation Organisation - Program Leadership
Assisted this organisation in designing and implementing a program management framework, to rollout major tax reforms were managed from a strategic, risk, quality, outcome and budget perspective.

 

Financial Services - Call Centre Rationalisation
Managed the development of a detailed plan to rationalise the call centre operations in order to reduce the overall cost of service and to change the focus of the call centres from cost to revenue generation.

 

Law Firm - Practice Administration System
Assisted in defining their requirements for a practice administration system and undertook a fast track system selection process.
The project produced a detailed business case for recommending the preferred vendor.

 

Livestock Organisation - Management Information System
Assisted in defining their information requirements for determining the appropriate system to support management in their day to day decision making activities.

 

Health Fund - CRM Review
Undertook a business risk assessment of the CRM system prior to its intended implementation.  The review focused on the strategic value of the proposed solution and the business readiness for its eventual implementation.

 

Health Insurer - Quality Assurance of System Selection
Provided a quality assurance role in the assessment of software providers to replace the organisation's core systems. The role included both coaching and audit aspects.

 

Packaging Manufacturer - Technology Architecture
Conducted a comprehensive review of the technology architecture based upon the current setup and its relevance to the future direction and structure of the organisation.

 

Packaging Manufacturer - Business Continuity Plan
Prepared a comprehensive business continuity plan that enabled the business to relocate its data centres, reduce operating expenses and reduce the level of risk to the organisation.

 

Advertiser - Review of Location & Navigation Business
Conducted a detailed review of the L&N business to assess how it can be improved today and what challenges are faced in the future given market directions. In addition, the project is also developing a dashboard to support the ongoing management of the business.

 

Retail - IT Review
Conducted a review of the organizations IT function and architecture to assess how well it is currently supporting the business and how it may need to change for the future.

 

Waste Management - Technology Architecture
Conducted a comprehensive review of the technology architecture based upon the current setup and its relevance to the future direction and structure of the organisation.

 

Public Hospital - Billing System
Conducted the selection and implementation of a billing system to improve the capture and management of revenue for the hospital. The project delivered significant financial benefits by stopping revenue leakage.

 

University - Student Management System
Conducted a project to oversee the sale of a student management system to a third party. The project required extensive consultation, with the involvement of 11 universities.

 

University – Post Implementation Review
Conducted a detailed review of a HR & Payroll system implementation to assess why the initial project had failed.

 

University – Go-Live Assessment Review
Conducted a preliminary assessment of the project’s go-live status and recommended changes to ensure a successful implementation.

Assisted the organisation to design a new ICT architecture to support a workforce exceeding 3,000 people. This covered all aspects
of the business.

Assisted the organisation to implement a new HR & Finance system with a workforce exceeding 3,000 people. The project involves
the implementation of a standard HR & Finance service model across the various divisions and programs.
