ISO 9001:2008 Certification

rivor operate a Quality Service Program (Q4), and gained Certification to ISO 9001:2008 in June 2010 with SAI Global. In 2017, our program was re-certified and, in the future, rivor will move to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. Our Certification continues through to September 2018.

Our Q4 Program is used within our payroll processing team to continually improve upon and meet system objectives.

The scope of the Certification covers business administration services, including payroll processing, customer service and systems administration support.

Our Q4 Program enables rivor to continuously improve operational effectiveness including incident investigation, corrective action to resolve the root cause of problems, self-audit and management review.

Document & Version control facilitates the creation, ongoing development, and merging of documents and files within our team. The contents of a document / file under version control are not simply overwritten. Each time modifications are made, a new version is created as the ‘current’ version.

Internal Quality Audit

The key objectives of the rivor Internal Quality Audit program are to:

  • ensure effective systems of internal control have been established for the payroll function
  • determine the extent to which controls have been complied with as part of the ongoing processing & monitoring of payroll; and
  • identify better practices that can be applied to improve the effectiveness of the payroll processing & controls.

The Internal Quality Auditor is responsible for recommending extra audits, identifying any non-conformance and updating the audit schedule if additional audits are recommended.


Compliance is crucial to ensuring that rivor’s business objectives are met within the law and without jeopardising our reputation and standards.

Compliance is the process by which we identify and meet our obligations arising from:

  • Legislation
  • Standards
  • Codes
  • Company Policies, and
  • Stakeholder expectations

Our leadership team and employees are responsible for achieving our compliance objectives, and facilitating continuous improvement.

The company leadership of rivor actively promote a strong and effective compliance culture and are committed to meeting our compliance obligations, including reporting and acting on compliance breaches in a timely manner.

The compliance framework addresses the needs of our external stakeholders for appropriate levels of transparency, accountability and consistent risk management.  Internally, it ensures our business is well-managed, so that we continue to respond to change and new business challenges.

The rivor policies, processes and references are written to ensure compliance to all required contractual specifications, regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
